Experience management company, Medallia opened a Singapore data centre, due to customer growth across APAC.
A global business and connectivity hub, Singapore is a priority market for Medallia.
Gavin Selkirk, APAC vice president and general manager at Medallia said it was investing across the APAC region to support expansion and help customers drive growth.
“The Singapore data centre plays an integral part in ensuring we deliver on the data security and regulatory requirements of businesses who are scaling up customer and employee experience programs,” he said. “We already have customers using the infrastructure and it will become the default location for many of our Asian customers.”
Selkirk notes the data centre will host all Medallia Experience Cloud Solutions, including Video, Digital, Speech, Conversations, Text Analytics and the company’s artificial intelligence product, Athena.
Medallia’s SaaS cloud platform is owned and maintained by the company. All backend infrastructure ensuring reliability, uptime and operational capabilities match data centres around the world, is maintained by the company.
